What is Designer For a Day?

A Full-Day in-person design intensive designed to give you the ability to achieve a lot of progress in a short amount of time. It is a 6-hour interior design session.

What is Included in this service?

• We start with a questionnaire where you can tell us more about your project.
• Next we schedule a 30-minute call to get crystal clear on what you want to accomplish during your session.
• We schedule your 6-hour in-person Designer for a Day session. This time can be spent in your home or in showrooms if you need assistance with selecting materials for a renovation.
• After the session, you will receive a follow up report and any deliverables that may have been included in the session.
• Finally, you have another 30-minute call to be used within 3 months for any questions or advice you may need to finish up your project.

What will we work on during a Designer For a Day interior design session?

Here are a few examples of what we can work on during a session:

• Come up with a room layout & source a few key furnishings online
• Reconfigure the layout of your room for better function or flow
• Design custom built-ins
• Select paint colors for walls, ceiling & trim
• Create a lighting plan for a room
• Determine a new kitchen layout
• Make finish selections for a renovation if you are unsure of how to pull it together so that it looks good and works in your space
• Have an expert with you to go shopping in order to focus on the right colors, sizes, patterns and styles

What are the possible deliverables?

There are a number of things we can accomplish together in this service. Each session will be tailored to the clients needs. The deliverables will be depend on the type of session and what was discussed in the preliminary call. Some of the deliverables that you may receive are:

• Shared Pinterest board
• Concept sketches
• Detailed notes
• Sourcing links
• Samples
• Styling & Accessories

What is not included in this service?

We do not include any purchasing of products, project management, construction drawings, access to trade sources, or fully-detailed specifications as part of this service.
